We have enjoyed welcoming all the children to preschool this week and everyone has had a lot of fun exploring and getting to know each other.

Our morning children particularly enjoyed the trips to the big school playground where they climbed, ran and even performed puppet shows!

We also looked at shapes this week; threading them, making arrangements with them and digging for them to match with their shape names.

In the afternoons we have been singing and joining in with action songs, playing with cars and helping to look after the gerbils ‘twisty’ and ‘twirly’.

Our new road safety area was very busy and the children used our new traffic lights and speed camera to control the busy preschool road – with some very fast drivers!

Please don’t forget to log in to your tapestry account to see what your child has been doing this week. If you have any questions about this, please speak to a member of staff.

Next week: we will use the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’ to help us with our numbers, creative crafts, sensory dough and of course some cooking!
